“To produce doctor of philosophy graduates who attain academic excellence and can create new knowledge through architectural research. Such knowledge should be a foundation for academic innovation or integration at an international standard, with the responsibility for society and the environment.”
Architectural knowledge is closely related to the development of problem-solving through architectural processes, leading to the creation of works that improve quality of life, develop communities, and build social and environmental sustainability. The Department of Architecture has developed this curriculum considering changes in construction technology, the creation of sustainable cities and communities, the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage, and the aim to produce doctoral graduates who are capable of conducting research, creating new knowledge through new concepts or processes, and integrating knowledge across disciplines to contribute to the development of architectural knowledge and national sustainable development.
